Removing the catalytic converter is illegal. It will also not improve fuel mileage. The engine will not run properly with the converter removed and the check engine light will not go off and cannot be turned off as it will just come back on. The ECU will try to adjust the fuel/air mixture to compensate for the missing converter which will hurt economy not help it. The fine is $2,500 if you are caught. Install a converter back on your car ASAP.
On vehicles built within the last 12 years you will get no improvement in mileage if you remove the catalytic converter. Besides, it is illegal to modify the emissions system in this manner.
If you removed ALL emissions equipment, the question would be hard to answer, in theory anyway. Removing individual equipment such as your Catalytic Converter would improve exahaust flow and improve gas mileage. Removing your Oxygen Sensor would most likely decrease gas mileage because the Oxygen Sensor helps control the air/fuel mixture.
Posi?ætraction does not improve gas mileage nor does it decrease gas mileage. The traction does not come into play in less the pavement is wet.
Depends on the vehicle. It could improve mileage or lower mileage.
