If your state has an emancipation law, if so you either have to prove that you have a job & can support yourself, or be able to prove that you are staying with someone that will support you if you can i know in Texas you will gain emancipation, and if you are supporting yourself you will gain a permit to buy cars, rent apartments, & have credit cards. (But if you are being supported by another adult you will not gain this permit.)

This is an example of Texas though, It varies by state.

Is it possible to drop a restraining order with no parents If you are now seventeen years old in Massachusetts?

nope, you're not a legal adult until youre 18. Unless you claim independence from your parents (in which case you would no longer be under their insurance plan or accept financial dependability) you need them to do everything legally.

Youre a 17 year old male and youre parents haven't realized that its time for them to lay off and let you do stuff how do you have your parents realize this?

Your parents are the people who are most concerned with your well-being. If they are normal parents you need to sit them down and tell them exactly what it is you want to do and you also have to agree to boundaries and rules. For example if you want to go hang out with friends, you might also have to agree to a curfew. Eventhough you are 17, you still have to abide by the house rules. If you are 19 and living at home--you still have to live by the house rules. It's all about showing some level of maturity. Give respect and you get respect.
