yes a mechanical mixture can be made up of solids, liquids, and gases.

(but i dont think it is possible for a mecahnical mixture to be made up of only gases because u cant see the different types of particles)

It is certainly possible to mix together two or more substances which are of the same phase, solid liquid or gas, thereby producing a new solid, liquid, or gas mixture. For example, you can mix gin and tonic, rum and coke, Orange Juice and Grape Juice. You mix liquids, and get a liquid mixture. Or you could mix two different colors of sand, and get a solid mixture. Or mix oxygen and nitrogen, and get a gas mixture. But you can also mix things of different phases. Mud contains liquid water, and solid soil, mixed together. Burning wood releases solid particles into the air, creating a mixture which could be called polluted air.
