Scientists look at their data and decide if the data supports the hypothesis.If the data is exactly the same after many experiments, the hypothesis is supported.If the data does not support the hypothesis, scientist may change the hypothesis or change the experiment .

That depends on the step. If you skip the step Conduct Research, you probably won't do so well. But if you skip a step like organizing data, the consequences won't be severe. Yes, it may be hard to understand some things you write, but it won't hinder you from presenting or analyzing your data.
