yes you can pull out the bottom and put it in
you can't to answer your question simply, you can't. your gameboy games might fit into the slot, but it wont work. only gameboy advansed and ds chips
No...you need a GBA link cable and 2 GBA's. So don't get rid of your Gameboys if you've ever thought about it.
Only Pokemon Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, Black, and White can be played on the DSi XL. All others need previous hand-held gaming platforms.
No, you cannot. No Gameboy Advance games or games before that system can be played on the Nintendo DSi.
No, it won't. DSIs dont have the Game Boy duel slot feature.
Yes, you can.
Yes, you can
No
There is no Slot-1 version of Pokemon Emerald, though the DS and the DS Lite can play a GBA Emerald cartridge inserted into Slot-2.
No, GBA games cannot use the DS's wireless function. You'd need actual GBAs and either a link cable or the GBA wireless adaptors.
Your game, Pokemon HeartGold, might not play on your 3DS and DS Lite when the game was playable before because you have damaged the disk or cartridge.
Yes, you most certainly can!
This is a long process. You must have atleast 2 Ds' and one must be a DS Lite, for the GBA slot. If you don't, then you can't. First, you put Emerald in the GBA slot of your DS Lite. You put one of the following games in the DS game slot: Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon HeartGold, or Pokemon SoulSilver. You start up the DS game, and on the Game Menu, before you select Continue Game, you scroll down and select Migrate Pokemon From Emerald. Migrate the selected pokemon, then go to Pal Park( This is more accessable to me in Pearl, Platinum, and Diamond) and capture your Migrated Pokemon. Keep the game in your DS Lite, and put White/Black in your second DS(It doesn't matter if it's a DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, or 3DS) and select Continue Game. There is a building on Route 15, and it's like Pal Park since you can use it to transfer stuff from past games. You can only use this after you got the National Pokédex in Black or White ethough. Everything will be explained when you go inside the building. In your DS Lite, make sure your in DS Download Play, not the game, but keep the game in the DS. I know this is really long, but it works! You can Migrate any Pokemon, and Transfer any Pokemon. Sadly, the Union Room doesn't work between games... but it's the only way. Hope this helps! ~Heartless
Pokemon Emerald already works for DS Lite, all GBA games work on DS or DS Lite. (It's the bottom socket, opposite the one that takes DS games.
There is no Slot-1 version of Pokemon Emerald, though the DS and the DS Lite can play a GBA Emerald cartridge inserted into Slot-2.
in ds lite and the regular one, yes.
yes but only on ds/ds lite. not dsi
Put Pearl in the DS and Emerald in the GBA slot (DS Lite!) Then when you start the game there will be a "Migrate Pokemon" choice, choose it and choose 6 Pokemon, they cannot know HM's though!
I don't know. Do you? i do! i do! you can. you just put it in the GBA slot (aka Slot 2) and when you turn the ds on, you can play it.
No, GBA games cannot use the DS's wireless function. You'd need actual GBAs and either a link cable or the GBA wireless adaptors.

You can use Action rReplay for DS Lite for Pokémon Emerald version. Action Replay allows you to do various cheats.
No, the 2DS is not compatible with Game Boy Advance games. The latest console that you can play Game Boy Advance games on is the DS Lite.
Sousilver cannot transfer to Emerald. But if you have a DS lite you can migrate Pokemon from emerald to soulsilver.(PS. this does not work with dsi(XL).)
You can play any GBA (GameBoy Advance) on a DS and a DS lite not a dsi
