----- Apple Inc. is different from every other computer manufacturer in the fact that the company not only makes computers (hardware), but also the operating systems that run on them (software). Apple's line of desktop and notebook computers are collectively called Macs (Mac is short for Macintosh), and its operating system is called Mac OS X (X is pronounced "ten" - it is the roman numeral, not the letter). Apple's line of portable computing devices are known as iPhone and iPod touch. They do not run Mac OS X, but rather a scaled down version of the same operating system called iPhone OS X. ----- Windows Movie Maker will not run in Mac OS X, the native operating system installed on Apple computers. However, all current Mac models (as of October 2008) will allow Windows to be installed via Boot Camp, VMWare Fusion, or Parallels Desktop for Mac. If Windows is installed on the computer, then it is possible to run Windows Movie Maker on Apple branded hardware.
Yes, you can play a movie created on Windows Movie Maker on a Mac. However, the movie/video format has to be Quicktime (.mov, .mp4) format which a Mac uses.
Windows Movie Maker publishes/finishes video in one of the following formats: .asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv.
Since Mac (customarily) uses Quicktime (.mov, .mp4) formats, which are not generated by Windows Movie Maker, the files will likely need to be converted.
No. Unfortunately Windows Movie Maker is for a PC not a Mac computer. But, if you are looking for a similar program for the Mac OS, you want to get iMovie and iDVD. Click on the Related Link below (bottom of this page) for more information on iMovie/iDVD.
You cannot install Windows Movie Maker software on a Macintosh computer. You have to use software specific to a Mac. Apple makes a version they call iMovie that you can try.
Apple only makes their software for Mac. Windows Movie Maker is an alternative option.
No, Windows Movie Maker is a free download. But, the program already comes free with Windows operating systems. So unless your current Movie Maker is not working properly and you wish to download and reinstall the program again, you don't need to download it.By the way, if you own a Mac... you can't download Windows Movie Maker at all. Mac machines include iMovie software for video editing if I am not mistaken. (And I could be mistaken since I haven't used/owned a Mac for many, many moons now).
The Mac version of Windows Live Movie Maker is iMovie. It usually comes with the Macs
Answer 1:There is a program...Windows Movie Maker. It usually comes with your laptop Answer 2:The software are not based on machine, but on system, so if your HP has a mac system, then you can use iMovie, but if your system is Windows, then you can download Corel video studio something like that.
Movie Maker is the default video editing program on PC computers, much like iMovie is the default on a MAC. If your PC doesn't have Movie Maker installed, you can download the free program at Windows Live. Movie Maker is a free program for PC.
The Windows Movie Maker is only available for the Windows operating system. Unless you are running the Windows operating system on your Mac you will not be able to use Movie Maker. Fortunately all Macs come with iMovie a far superior movie editor. (See links below)
Get a mac!
Flash Pro is Mac formatted and will need to be converted for use in Windows Movie Maker.

If you have a PC (personal computer) and not a MAC, you already have Windows Movie Maker on it. If you have Windows 7 as your OS (operating system), then you have Windows Live Movie Maker, an Essential product. To find the version of Movie Maker you have, and to open the program, click on the Start Orb and type Windows Movie Maker in the Search bar. The program icon should appear in the list that is generated. Click on the icon to open your Movie Maker.
