It depends on the type of the degree and what kind of institution issued the degree. If the institution is considered an academic institution (as opposed to a certificate-granting career training center), they it may be possible.

If, however, the granting institution is an educational institution (such as a Community or Junior College, or any career-training institute that also grants associate degrees or bachelor degrees), then the time spent at these instituties will count against eligibility.

The best course of action is apply through the NCAA's Clearinghouse. Submitting your information to the NCAA to be declared eligible or ineligible will provide a person with the definitive answer.
