You are able to use video formats on most video-playing programs via a file within a flash drive. However, you are not able to use a DVD-ROM in order to read the files within a flash drive, as the two are incompatible by basic logic.

Is your web browser compatible with the videos being viewed or do you need a plugin or addon in order to view the video?
