a Toyota tercel has 4 motor mounts and 2 for the transmission theses motor mounts make your car unstable and they are easily broken
no its a1997 avalon replacing the mounts
Three at bottom and one on top total four mounts
Please note that I have 1995 Toyota Tacome LX (V6 3.4L) Automatic Ext. Cab
bad engine mounts... Toyota is known for this.
Should be four.
i just replace the motor mounts with supra mounts
Check motor mounts or trany mounts.
The cost to replace engine mounts on this car can run between $30-$300+. This can cost even more depending on where the mounts are bought, the brand of the mounts, and if someone else does the work.
You can put an engine, from your Toyota Celica, into your Toyota Corolla. The wiring harness and the motor mounts will need to be changed.
it will fit with some fabrication. the body mounts are all different.
Take it to the shop
yes, it should fit. you may have to adjust how it mounts thought if the 4 runner was originally a v6.
im pretty sure you have to change the mounts my cousin put a 350 into an 87 Toyota and im prettysure he had to
Have the motor mounts checked.
It depends on the exact model to which you are referring. Earlier models had three engine mounts; later models used four. If you are not comfortable or familiar with changing engine mounts, your best bet is to see an authorized mechanic, who can do the work needed.
using a block of wood to protect the oil pan, lift the engine with a jack to take the load off the mounts while changing them
only possable if you have the same engine e.g 3s-fe to a 3s-fe but use the old manifolds and mounts for which the motor is going into ive done heaps of these but you cant change a 3s-fe in a 4s-fe then the mounts are slightly different but not hard to make new ones.
