If you truly want your Betta fish to live out its full lifespan, don't put it in a bowl. And if you do, make sure it's at least a 2.5 gallon bowl that's filtered and heated to 78-80 F. Going unfiltered is doable if you want to/can do a LOT of water changes though. There are a lot of misconceptions about Bettas. People say their lifespan is 2 years when it should be 3-5 when properly cared for.

No. These fish need to be kept seperate. But if you want the goldfish to be eaten, you have to put them together :) You can put a Chinese fighting fish, also known as a betta, in a gold fish bowl. You could keep a betta and goldfish together, not reccamended though. The betta won't eat the goldfish, if it does, it's got srious problems:)

Siamese Fighting Fish fight because most of the fish are territorial. If another fish/Siamese Fighting Fish comes in their territory, the Siamese Fighting Fish will strike and start fighting until one surrenders, is almost dead, or is dead. This also happens when Siamese Fighting Fish are mating. Sometimes the female/male is too old or too young and if they are put together, they will start fighting. When mating, the female has to hide in plants or behind rocks so that the male will not nip on her fins.yes because they smell

Innately, Siamese fighting fish fight and just need practice with stregnth and agility. You can train them by dangling a blade of grass into the bowl and jurking it away when they come close. make sure you do this in a bowl that is big enough so that you do not force it to bump into the walls and weaken itself.

Answer Siamese Fighting Fish I have 2 fighting fish myself. I believe that Siamese fighting fish prefer a dim light to being in bright light for example, or direct sunlight. Although they do prefer warm water, the lighting I think is preferred dark.
