Can you put tetras and guppies together?
You can put Bettas, and tetras together. A clown loach will go with anything you put in the tank. Just make sure you have a big enough tank. Guppies multiply quickly. So if you want to put in more fish you will have to be careful the other fish don't eat the baby guppies. Don't put Oscars in with other fish. A fish will eat another fish if it can get it in it's mouth.
hey there, to tell you the truth is doesnt really matter all that much. Just make sure that u get 1 female to 2 male guppies or else the males are really going to stress out the female by chasing her and could possibly kill her by stress. You might want to watch out for tetras, its quite a possibility that u might get one or two nippy tetras that's might have a go at…
Update My black skirt tetras are indeed aggressive and yesterday on of them killed my guppy it was floating around with its head missing water parameters are fine has anyone else experienced this?
Guppies are livebearers, so the place to start is with other livebearers. Guppies will happily enjoy living with platies, swordtails, and mollies. Other possible fish that you can put them with include tetras and danios. Choose small fish that won't prey on the guppies, and do not choose any fish with impressive fins-the guppies may nip them.
Most tetras get along very well with tropical community fish such as guppies, platies, and mollies. Depending on the size of the tetra, you may also be able to put some of the more docile semi-agressives in there as well. To be safe, avoid putting anything in your tank that can fit your tetras in it's mouth.
You can keep any other community fish with neon tetras. Ask your local pet store to find out what fish breeds are allowed with tetras. Here are a few: guppies, cardinal tetras, honey gourami, swordtails, corydoras, zebra danio, harlequin fish, mollies, and other small fish. You are not able to keep them with bigger species of fish such as angel fish
No Guppies, tetras, and gouramis are all wonderful fish to keep as pets but it is not a very good idea to stick them with a goldfish. Guppies, tetras, and gouramis are all tropical fish who like temperatues above 75 degrees F. Goldfish are coldwater fish which prefer colder temperatures of under 70 degrees F. By putting these fish together you would only stress them out. Also goldfish are a very messy fish that produce…
Is it ok if you put a Siamese fighter fish in with 2 mollies 2 neon tetras and 2 guppies in one tank?
2 Tetras = 2 gallons, 2 mollys = 6 gallons, 2 guppies = 2 gallons, 1 Betta = 3 gallons. Provided your tank holds a bit more than 15 gallons of water (about 20 gals) and your filter will handle the job, there is no reason I can think of that would stop you putting a Siamese Fighter (Betta splendens) in the tank with the fish species you mention.
