I would skip refrying them, that is definitely more unhealthy than tolerable.

Just corn oil works well, it is like a staple food in my home! :)

I recommend adding some fried potatoes [you shouldn't eat this meal often if you're trying to lose weight or won't be able to burn off the fat]. A little seasoning [avoid garlic, it is quite smelly and doesn't mix well with fried beans].

Actually, yes. MASH the cooked beans slightly, season with some salt and chili powder if desired and sautee in a little oil (in ancient times we used lard) until warm & thick. It's called. . . refried beans! (Really)

You most definitely can reheat pinto beans. I usually cook a pot for the week and keep them in the refrigerator. You can scoop out what you need and reheat no problem. I like to store them whole and than mash them while reheating for burritos, tostadas, in a bowl mixed with rice; or as a side dish.
