Its not advised. While she is giving birth, you are supposed to take them away from her until she is done delivering her puppies. You can give them away when they have all their shots by 6 weeks.
Make sure to separate the two when the time comes for the mother to have the pups! If it's the father, I'm sure he would try to eat the pups after birth.
