yes you will actually gain power because the engine doesnt loose power spinning the pulley for the a/c compressor so if you are looking for a lil bit more power i would recommend that

probably would bolt up , which you could tell by making a bolt template of the alternator bracket, but the 2.4 may require an alternator with more voltage especially if air conditioning is introduced

If equipped with air conditioning remove oil filter and adaptor. Remove oil pan bolts. Remove oil pan. Note: If the exaust blocks oil pan removal, you'll need to loosen it at the manifold also.
