My neurologist STRONGLY opposes taking any aspirin, Motrin, Advil or ibuprofen with Lamictal. It is possible that it varies from person to person, but I personally am not allowed to.
I checked two different drug interactions databases an the manufacturer's prescribing information and none of them list an interaction between the two. The safest thing is to ask the doctor who prescribed it.

∙ 16y agoYes. you can. lamictal is a good drug, but depending on if you take it for seizures or mental health issues topamax or topaprimate is better for mood stabilization. If your insurance doesn't cover it, it can be a very expensive drug.
