Taking Tylenol 3 and Percocet together is not recommended. Before taking them together, seek the advice of a physician.
Codeine cough syrup is called promethazine or phernegian. The tylenol is called Tylenol 3. Yes you can take these together.
you probably shouldn't because they both have Tylenol and you should take only so much of Tylenol you could mess up your liver.
yes in moderation
hi there can i take tylenol 3 with viagra
can you take tylenol 3 with reactine
No. Tylenol 3 is Tylenol with codeine, and tramadol is a different type of pain killer, so they should not be taken together.
both taken together make it very hard and about 3 inches longer than normal
Yes it is safe to take these two drugs together. Think of them as the same. If the bottle says take do not exceed, for example, 4 pills in 24 hours. That does not mean you can take 4 Tylenol PM and then an extra 2 regular Tylenol. You could do 3 PM's and 1 regular or 2 of each. They are essentially the same thing except Tylenol has the addition of a sleep aid, diphenhydramine HCl.
Tylenol can be taken with Xanax. However, it will probably make you drowsy, depending on the dosages. Don't drive. Take in the evening unless you can sleep during the day.
Not good since they are almost the same thing. Abuse is highly likely if you take both.
You should only take medicines as prescribed for you by a qualified medical practitioner (a doctor) - the doctor will know which drugs may be taken together.
Yes, you can. Tylenol 3 is acetaminophen and codeine, and Advil is ibuprofen, they do not interact, and a combination of both is often used, even in hospital. Just be sensible about the amount you are taking, often the best way to take both is to take the Tylenol 3, wait 2 to 4 hours, then take a dose of Advil. DO NOT take more of either medication than is indicated on the label.
just tylenol 1
I take a lot of tylenol......can it cause the excessive bruising that I have?
It is not recommended that you take both of these together. By taking them together it can cause seizures. For a seizure patient you definitely should not take them together. However, If you were to take Ativan or Valium today you would have to wait at least 3 days to take the opposite of the one you took. This is for safe measures to get it out of his/her system. This is usually the reason why Doctors do not prescribe both to you. You have to make sure that you drink plenty of fluids why taking these medications. If you were not prescribed this medication do not take it without first consulting a doctor.
From what i understand the answer simply is Yes. My reasoning is as follows. Three Tylenol 1's contain less acetaminophen then 2 pills of Extra strength Tylenol and contain less Codeine than one Tylenol 3. If you take one Tylenol 3, you are ingesting more codeine phosphate then if you take 3 tylenols 1's. If you take 2 extra strength Tylenol you are ingesting more acetaminophen then 3 Tylenol 1's. Aleve and Tylenol 3 are both used for pain. Aleve is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation. Tylenol 3 is the combination of acetaminophen and codeine. Codeine is considered to be a narcotic. It would probably be a good idea not to take the two medicines together even though they don't contain the same ingredients. It would be a good idea to seek the advice of a physician or your pharmacist.
There is 2 types of Fioricet one is plain with out Codeine(325mg Tylenol/ 40mg Caffeine/ 50 mg Butalbital)the other one is Fioricet with Codeine(325mg Tylenol/ 40mg Caffeine/ 50Butalbital/ 30mg Codeine)* Tylenol is abbreviated as APAP & Codeine is abbreviated as COD *All Tylenol #3 is 300mg Tylenol/ 30mg CodeineSo if you were taking the one without codeine you could if you really needed to but that's a lot of Tylenol to take in which could be harsh on the stomach & liver.
