My wife has been advised by her OB-GYN that you should not take Aleve while pregnant. It has been linked to kidney development problems in the fetus and possibly miscarriages. Her OB-GYN provided her with an entire list of medicines that she could/could not have. Tylenol was her only option!

∙ 15y agoNO. It technically depends on your trimester, but it is best to assume NO NSAIDS (like naproxen or ibuprofen) or aspirin while you are pregnant. Acetaminophen is OK, but always talk to your OB/GYN about this!

∙ 11y agoThis tablet contents Naproxen. It is non steroidal pain killer. Takenoccasionally, it will not harm the unborn baby. But Tablet Paracetamol is preferred in first three months of pregnancy. There after take it if your Doctor prescribe it to you, please take it.

i recently did this project and our hypothesis was that out of our four pain relievers (naproxen sodium - like aleve, acetaminophen - like tylenol, aspirin, and ibuprofen - like motrin), naproxen sodium would take the longest to dissolve while ibuprofen and acetaminophen would dissolve the quickest. our hypothesis was proved partially right: naproxen sodium did take the longest to dissolve. however, aspirin was the quickest, not acetaminophen and ibuprofen.

What mg are in prescription strength naproxen?
You can get Naproxen in several differnet dosages. 200, 500 and 800 for exmple. Also, Naproxen sodium is kind of the same thing but the milligrams are equavalent - I've heard - to 220, 520 and 820. Naproxen is the active ingredient , i beleive, in Aleve which you can get over the counter.
