Yes, you can. Prozac is one of the SSRI medications which are used for treatment of depression, while penicillin is one of the widely used antibiotics. These two medications does not interact with each other.

∙ 14y agoYou can if your doctor feels that you need two different antibiotics. Remember that antibiotics cause stomach upset and diarrhea - double antibiotics will double that trouble! Also remember to take all of your antibiotics even after you start feeling better. You want to kill all the bacteria and not leave any hiding in your body!

∙ 10y agoYes both can be taken together. However, clarithromycin will cover most of bacterias already covered by Penicillin. So there is probably no advantage in keeping Penicillin while taking clarithromycin (Biaxin).

I am a second year pharmacy student, there are no conterindications of mixing alcohol and penicillan. However, in some rare cases the patient may feel nauseous if the 2 are mixed. Taking penicillan can reduce the effect of the contraceptive pill, so take extra precautions such as the condom.
