There are many sensors on the vehicle. Which ones are you looking for?
Input Speed Sensor is on Front of Trans closer to the engine. Output is on the front, farther to the drive side. Both are two wire sensors.
Depending on which sensor is bad the engine may run like crap and the check engine light should be on.
If it is a full size 5.7l engine, the switch is located to the right of the distributer looking at it from the front of the engine. Hope this helps.
Jimmy Carr has a Rover 75 as seen on Top Gear where him and Jeremy Clarkson talk about it and how the engine exploded at 80mph down the motorway, not sure whether he has other cars
There are two sensors 1 is by the crankshaft pully (by the drive belts) the other is between the engine and transmission it reads from the flywheel
The knock sensor on the 1996 GMC Jimmy 4-wheel drive, 4.3 liter 6-cylinder is mounted in the engine block. Under the hood, look in the lower engine area on the passenger side, beneath the cylinder head.
Alot depends two wheel drive is on rear of engine where four wheel drive is on a remote oil cooler under access door below radiator
The front wheels have abs sensors if applicable. The sensors would be mounted to the spindles not the rotors.
The GMC Jimmy is rear wheel drive. The only time the front wheels pulled is if it was a 4x4.
