Well, I have actually done this with a radar gun and can confirm a Golf ball can be thrown faster. Golf balls are smaller, dense and dimpled to cut the air and fly far.
An MLB pitcher could likely throw a golfball about 10mph faster than a Baseball.
Well if you throw a bowling ball and a golf ball, which is gonna go faster?
I say a golf ball, but it depends on how high you throw them.
It depends on how hard you throw/hit the ball. On average though, it is the golf ball.
i do believe that you throw it the same as a baseball member i think so dont sue me
a golf ball obviously...
golf is faster than both but tennis is faster than baseball
No, they are the same ball.
A golf ball falls faster because it's heavier than a ping pong ball.
it does because a golfball is smaller than a baseball
A football and a golf ball are both faster than a book, even if kicked with the same force. Between a football and a golf ball the winner will be the golf ball, because the football has much more drag.
a golf ball is heavier
Tennis ball, its heavier.
What is the difference between a base ball and a golf ball
To answer this question and ones like it, try exaggerating. Does it take the same amount of force to throw a cannon ball 3 meters as it does to throw a golf ball 3 meters?
a golf ball is filled with rubber which is more bouncier than yarn or strings on a baseball and also because of the density in the golf ball .
A golf ball would bounce far higher than a baseball. This is because a golf ball has been specifically designed to harness the energy it receives and get the most from it. Imagine how far a golf ball would go if you hit it with a baseball bat- pretty far, and how far a baseball would go if you hit it with a golf club-virtually no where.
golf ball, most aerodynamic
In other words, does a golf ball roll faster up a hill? No obviously not. It would roll faster down a slope, it's called gravity.
They will fall at the same speed. See Galileo.
An average fast ball in the MLB is about 92 MPH, Roger Federer serves a tennis ball at 135 MPH and Tiger Woods' ball speed is 170 MPH.
a golf ball because it is has a higher weight to cross sectional area ratio. ( weight to drag ) The inverse of this is why a bean will fall faster than a feather of the same weight. Also a golf ball has divots that allow it to fly thru the air faster
In vacuum (no air) they both fall the same rate. In air, the golf ball falls faster because air resistance slows down the very light ping pong ball
they both fall at the same rate of speed.
It would be a golf ball. No, a baseball does not have dimples
The golf ball has less air resistance then the tennis ball, and so accelerates slightly quicker (it will also have a greater terminal velocity).
