Can you touch a pigeon egg?

My keet just had her egg. Sunshine (female) is getting very fat. I do not recomend touching the egg for the reason that the female might become suscpicous that the egg is damaged.In my scientific opinion i think that you should leave the egg as it is and lets nature take its course. worse comes to worse the egg would fall through. I hope that thid did help .

It is perfectly okay to touch a lovebird's egg to put it back in the nesting box. Despite the old wives' tale stating otherwise, the mother bird will not reject the egg.

no they will bit you even if it is hand trained it will protect it's eggs if you touch the eggs it will no longer protect the eggs because you will leave a smell

Yes you can as long as they are prepared correctly. you should reasearch the different diseaeses that a parakeet may have, but you should look up recipes online!
