No, it as a design feature that Geo incorperated into its design. The only way to move it is either on its own power or with black magic...Not the tire shine, actual Abra ca-dabra stuff. Good luck.
to tow a 1992 Geo Tracker you must either disconnect the drive shaft or use a tow dolly and tow it backwards or you will damage the transmission
I think the tracker is a great vehicle to tow. I have a 37' Holiday Rambler and I tow a Geo Tracker, it tows great and is good to move around in after we get into the campground. It tells you what to do for towing in owners manual.
tow from the front with the transmission in neutral.
no
place transfer case inneutral and go for it

Yes it can. If it's a manual transmission put the car in neutral. If it's an automatic you'll have to remove the driveshaft (rear) to tow. This assumes that it's a 2wd. If it's a 4wd make sure the transfer case in neutral also.
look in ur users maunal
Manual Tranny is the same as Automatic Tranny when towing a 2WD. 2WD (Tow from back): Secure the rear wheels with a towing dolly (follow instructions for the dolly), set key to ACC, Make sure wheels are straight forward and secure the steering wheel with a clamping device for towing. The column isn't strong enough for shocks from the front wheels, make sure it's unlocked (setting it to ACC) before towing.
YES Place tranmission in neutral Place transfer case in neutral Place transmission in park. Have Fun !
yes put it neutral and tow from the front wheels
yes very safe as long as it is in neurtal and if 4x4 tc should be in neutral as well
