No but you can migrate. To migrate you need a DS lite.First turn of your ds and insert any Pokemon gba game pak (ex.Emerald,Ruby,etc.)then turn your ds on again and play your Pokemon ds game. When you see the menu where it says keep playing your file or receive mystery gift etc. It'll say migrate from (example Emerald,Sapphire, etc.)choose it and then you can choose which Pokemon you wanna migrate.WARNING,you can only migrate 6 Pokemon a day per cart and when you migrate, you can't take them back to your gba game.
Good Luck!
Yes. Well sort of. Once you have beaten the Pokemon league you gain acess to Pal Park. Just insert your Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed or Leaf Green into your GBA slot. Go onto your Pearl/Diamond and insted of selecting CONTINUE there will be an option to migrate from Ruby, Sapphire ect. Press that and choose Pokemon to migrate. Then you CONTINUE and go to Pal Park. Then start a catching game and you can recatch your Pokemon you migrated from your gba game.
BEWARE : you cannot send back poemon once you have migrated them!
You can trade Pokemon from xd to Sapphire, ruby, emerald, leaf green, fire red, etc. but you need to do it with a gba, or sp. because the ds can not be connected with the link cable. The link cable only works with the gba, or sp.
Actually you cann`t directly trade pokemons from gamecub to a Ds theres is a great process to do it.
1.- You need your gamecube with a gba pack
2.- you do need an emerald version
Now that you`ve got all that you trade all your gamecube Pokemon with trash Pokemon of the emerald version (such as pochyenna, wurmple, wingul etc.) then you take your Pokemon emerald insert it to your gameboy DS and also you put your Pokemon pearl, diamond or platinum. you start your game in the Pokemon pearl, diamond or platinum there will be an option that says. Emigrate from emerald. you choose 6 Pokemon and they will be transferred to the Pal Park there you only have to catch them.
NOTE!!!: this process pf emigrating Pokemon is each 24hr so you have to be patient and trade only the best of the best.
HOPE THAT THIS ANSWER HELP YOU AND HELP EVERYBODY!!!

You cannot trade Pokemon between Gameboy Advances and Gameboy Colors. It is impossible by regular means.

The Pokemon you want to trade must be on any kind of gameboy advance. Then you must have a special link that goes from the gamecube/wii to the gameboy advance. After that you go to the pokecenter then start trading.
