I can only answer anecdotally. It appears that Wellbutrin & Zyrtec do react when used together. When my Wellbutrin got up'd to 300mg (I also take 100mg of Zoloft), the Zyrtec made me incredibly sleepy to the point where I felt drugged & would not have felt comfortable driving a car. Normally Zyrtec does not make me sleepy even when I was on 150mg of Wellbutrin with 100mg of Zoloft or on 200mg of Zoloft alone. I will keep taking the Zyrtec but will take it before bed now. If you need to take both, I strongly suggest trying when you have nothing to do & nowhere to go.
Yes, you can, and I have been prescribed 50 mg of Pristiq with 300mg of Wellburtin xl-taking the wellbutrin in the am, and Pristiq at any time of the day, but try to keep it the same time-it has a short half=life. Good Luck to you if you try this combination!
No, these drugs can cause interactions. I almost died from taking both because it made my Allergies infinitely worse. I was reacting to the inactive ingredients in all of my meds and had to go to the emergency room.
I wouldn't risk it. There can be interactions. I almost died. Since there are so many antihistamines and also so many antidepressants, it shouldn't be hard to find two drugs that will be less likely to cause problems.
* •CNS depressants may increase depressant effects. * •MAOI may prolong and intensify anticholinergic effects of antihistamines: •Increased dry mouth, drowsiness, etc.
Yes, Zyrtec is a antihistamine and wellbutrin is an antidepressant. There shouldn't be any interaction with the two, but its always helpful to ask a pharmacist.

I currently take Wellbutrin XL at night. I have had no problems.

Pristiq is actually just a chemical cousin to an older drug, Effexor. While the actual half-life of the drug in the body is relatively short (1 day), its biological effects may last as long as 1-2 weeks due to the ability of this group of drugs to actually "re-model" some of the structures found in nerve cells. Wellbutrin may not really counteract its effects, but may simply take time for the biological aftereffects of the Pristiq to diminish over time.
Yes.
Yes. If prescribed by your doctor.
No; wellbutrin XL is a timed release pill, so you can't cut or crush the pills.
Yes, bupropion is the generic of wellbutrin, and they are both the xl. exactly the same. I am a pharmacist
