Yes, there is a wirelesss USB internet adapter available at some superstores and xbox.com for 100$. it plugs right into the USB port in the back of the Xbox 360. you also need a wireless router setup in your home to use it. Or, if your like me, you can just borrow the connection from a nearby neighbor's.

The answer is no. Not only that, looking at it from the other side, you cannot use the Xbox wireless adapter for a computer either.

You do not need to go wireless. The Xbox has an ethernet adapter on the back. If you are in the same room as the router, you can just connect it directly to the router. If you are in a different room and don't want to run a cable across the floor, there is another method. Only a Microsoft wireless adapter can plug into the usb port.

However if you can get a adapter that plugs into the ethernet port it will work.

You can also get a usb to ethernet adapter but you need an external power source for the wireless adapter.

As far as typical wireless adapters go, including popular brands like linksys, chances are it won't. While you may be able to hook up the wireless adapter to your XBOX 360 console via a special cord that you can buy at your favourite electronics store (i.e. Best Buy, Future Shop, The Source, etc.), you are throwing your money away. While the wireless adapter may appear to be hooked up correctly, the XBOX 360 console will not be able to identify it as a registered item (meaning, when you turn on your console and go to your XBOX 360 settings to establish an Internet connection, you will not be able to, as the console will not have identified the wireless adapter and therefore treat the situation like there isn't even one there!) So, essentially, there will be no change to your 360. To avoid this issue of compatibility, Microsoft currently sells XBOX 360 wireless adapters at around $100 dollars (Canadian). You can purchase these from your local electronics store (listed above) or gaming store (EB Games, GameStop, Walmart Game Department, etc.). If you are not looking to spend so much money, chances are that these stores offer discounts on previously used wireless adapters. However, like any used device, it does have a greater chance of malfunctioning.

Not that I'm aware of but you can use your laptop as an adapter for your Xbox appose to buying a 90$ adapter.

In order to use your Xbox 360 with your homes wireless network you would first need to purchase the Xbox wireless internet adapter as it cannot access wireless signals without it.
