Yes, the Selectric III can use the same letter ball as the Selectric II. Both typewriters are compatible with the same interchangeable typing elements, allowing you to use the same letter ball on either machine.
what kind of transmission fluid does a 96 jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 liter i-6 and an automatic transmission use (Detron III, ATF III, ATF 4,ETC,)?
The recommended transmission fluid for a 1996 Civic is Dexron II or IID transmission fluid. Do not use Mercon fluid as it has a different formulation and may cause harm to the transmission.
From 96, use 96 and 32. From 49, use 7 and 1 96 + 32 + 7 + 1 = 136
You can use type F. I have seen that in writing several authoritative places (check www.allpar.com). I use it in my '65 Newport, which is the same transmission design as yours. Some people think "F" stands for "Ford", but I understand it means "Friction". It should give firmer shifts and less clutch wear. I don't notice a difference from Dexron III, but I also installed a shift kit for firmer shifts. ATF+4 should also work since recommended for my '96 Voyager 3-spd which is the same basic Torqueflite design.
