yes you can use any type of water for gold fish but to be on the safe side i would go out to a store and buy a water clearifyer
well ive had my goldfish for 6 years now and
i have the basics;
4l fishtank,
2 goldfish,
100g fishfood flakes,
thermometer,
and decorations.
and i also use tap water and nothink else.
but i always clean the tank out every
sunday night at 5:00pm at night.

∙ 11y agoMost filtered water removes important minerals needed for your fish. If your tap water is safe for you to drink, then it is safe for your fish provided you use aquarium water conditioner per the instructions on the bottle
