I'm gonna say yes, it depends on how you use it. I learned from a friend that he took it for a week and was successful. But you have to wait another week for golden seal to flush out so it doesn't become detected when in your ua because they do test for it. I don't know how many milligrams you can take before worrying about death or overdose. He stated he took 7 capsules (of how many milligrams?) The first day and decreased by one capsule there after for one week. He also stated that it was good to eat a banana with it so you don't get severe diarhea. Then go a week eating normally and depending on your weight and body chemistry you should come out clean. Is this true or false? Is it worth the risk of overdose or death? Who knows? I haven't decided if I want to try it or not.......! Try this method at your own risk. Every site I find says goldenseal doesn't work but I have friends that swear by it. Good luck! Goldenseal root will not give you diarreha as it is used to treat it. It may cause naseua, lowered blood sugar, increased blood pressure, and it may cause acid reflux medications to be ineffective. Well it all depends on what you mean by "detoxify" it does not beat a urine test effectively for drugs but it does clean out a considerable amount of it. Much more effective means are out there as I was on probation for awhile and found a need if you will to get rid of unwanted elements in my system.

All that will remove THC or any drug component from your system is time.

the sick part is drug testing only catches thc all other drugs are out of the system in a few hours. so only junkies can work for the police
