I really dont understand the question here, but both regular white sugar as well as light brown sugar is used in baking, it just depends on the recipe. Light brown sugar has less of the "molasses" flavour than darker brown sugar. Both of them can and are used in baking. There are a number of "grades" or "darknesses" of brown sugar and as the colour darkens the flavour becomes more intense. If your recipe needs the punch of a darker sugar then go ahead and use it. The colour has no effect other than taste in baking.

Yes it can, and no recipe adjustments are needed.

This makes NO SENSE WHEN YOU HAVE TO DILUTE DARK BROWN SUGAR WITH GRANULATED SUGAR TO GET LIGHT BROWN SUGAR. The color is derived from the amount of molasses in the sugar not the color of the molasses.

YOU NEED TOP ADD ONE TABLESPOON OF MOLASSES TO THE LIGHT BROWN TO MAKE IT DARK BROWN...OR GO TO WHITE SUGAR, GRANULATED, USE 1 CUP OF THAT AND 1/4 CUP OF MOLASSES.

Yes it can....unless you want more taste to your food...then use dark.

In baking, brown sugar essentially does the same thing as regular table sugar does. In fact, brown sugar is white sugar, only with molasses added. The molasses adds a certain color, a little more sweetness and moisture, and a little different taste, but by and large, the brown sugar does the same job as regular sugar in baking.

No; light muscovado sugar is a brown sugar, while caster sugar is fine-grained white sugar. Muscovado is unique; it comes from Mauritius, where the soil contains lava that infuses the sugar with unique properties. It contains molasses, while white sugars like caster sugar have the molasses removed during processing.
