Yes, it is possible. However it varies. I had a friend tear his ACL and not be able to walk from all of the swelling. I was able to walk on mine, since the swelling was not intense. The loose feeling and the "giving out" of the knee takes gettting used to.
Strong muscles around the knees and quads helps support your knee. Stronger the better. I've torn my acl and im walking on it. The acl is the ligament for twisting so it wont affect your walking. The swelling will gradually goes down because unfortunately, iv hurt my acl 3 times now and each time i spent around a week with very bad swelling but after that, my walking started to improve.
=== i suppose you can, but it would be VERY difficult. we have growed knees from the start of evolution, as our bodies find we need them (if you believe in such things)
edit: sorry, i deleted the evolution + god crap below because hes bible bashing and it hasn't been proven if god created the world, as the big bang theory has proved to work - jus thought id clear this up and delete it

Yes, you can. But it is very painful.
My brother had a torn acl from playing Baseball, he could walk on it, but it was painful for him and he eventually had to have surgery to fix it.
yea you can nba player dejuan Blair plays with no acl
The purpose of the knee is to help you walk, when needed. It also enables you to kick a ball, without a knee, you would die, or need a wheelchair to move around, because you won't be able to walk, due to you having no knee.
It's the equivalent to a human knee-joint - Without it, the horse wouldn't be able to walk properly !
Your knee allows you to walk and bend your leg.
you can but leaving your leg straight is the only way to walk. if you bend your knee as your about to walk youll be in great pain
Being able to walk in a functional manner -yes. Being able to walk just like before -no.
Something must be wrong with the anatomical structure of the boys knee; he cannot walk without severely limping.
You could have a pulled muscle in your knee if there is pain when you bend it.
Easy, They're knee long!
No, but if you can, you're lucky.
After a knee operation, you should expect to wait about 6 to 8 weeks before you can walk again. Some people may find that they are able to walk before that, with help.
"It bends when you need it too. If we did not have that then you wouldn't be able to walk."what.
