If you are wearing the jacket and pants as a suit, I would say no, but if the two items are the same fabric and the top (shirt) under the jacket has both greys colors in it might work if you are wearing it like a sports jacket. Typically you wouldn't wear two different blacks together so really

I think grey would complement a lavender top. If that makes you uncomfortable, navy blue slacks work as well. To be more professional and business-like, you could wear black slacks.

u could wear a white or a black shirt! these go perfectly with grey trousers! but apart from these two, i am too confused about the colors that go well.. guess will have to wear them and check it out!
