Does nail polish remover damage an American girl doll?

You can put nail polish on them. but i am not sure if you can remove it. You would probably have to ask the manager at American girl or the beauty people at the counter. I'm sure they will tell you because they put cream on the dolls faces. Good luck!

∙ 13y agoIt all depends what the doll is made out of. If it's a type of rubber or some plastics, it WILL ruin or even melt the doll. I'm not sure what you could use, but be very careful on your advices. Call a doll club or collector. Nail polish remover will take off even permanent marker, because it has acetone in it, which is a paint remover!
