I am assuming that you have the analog style gauge cluster. What you would do is you would take the gauge cluster out of the dashboard area. Then, you would install a new gauge. If you cannot do this, I would check the internet and find a new Chrysler New Yorker gauge cluster. It has two. VSS1 is located in the combination meter(gauge cluster) in the dash. I believe it cannot be replaced separately of the combination meter. VSS1 is located on the bellhousing of the transmission on top of the passenger side. There is a cable that connects the two that will cause a check engine light when disconnected or broken.
