Doesn't have one.
It dosent have any dip stick on it
The Chevy Cavalier vehicle can be either an automatic or a stick shift. You can switch an automatic over to a stick shift by switching out the transmission.Ê
attaCHED TO THE OIL CAP
As you stand in front of the car looking to the right.Look for a white dip stick.
98 Chevy cavalierIt might be a stick shift
If your looking for the automatic transmission dipstick, it doesn't have one.
you have to go from under the car on the drivers side. there is a dip stick/fill hole
If auto. Dipstick should be at the rear passenger side of the engine If you can't find the stick it might be because on the 4 speed auto trans models there is none, check your manual. It may be a sealed unit.
If it is a 2.4 liter engine with dohc it does not have a dip stick... it is a sealed transmission.
Auto or stick shift? If its a stick - there is a dip stick, look for the master cylinder, then look down. It's located really far down - rght on the back of the tranny.
Stick a small flat head beside vent and push to opposit side and towards you carefully.
Its underneith the car by the transmission pan the cap on the engine block is just where you would fill it.
How do you get MasterCard to reverse charges and make them stick?
because its a stick shift dumb asses
i have a '96 cavalier and all u have to do is stick a screw driver in the panel beside the radio to where u can get your fingers in there and just pull it out. but be careful that u dont break the panel or the clips.
hello this can be caused by a wore stick or reverse hear snar ring broke what model is it does the stick seem slopy
if it was automatic it had a torqueflite tranny and had 3 forward gears and a reverse and if stick shift you had either a 3 speed tranny (rare) or a 4 speed.
no there was never stick shift in a in the fwd 3.8 grand prix but there is a way to run a stick shift in the car without it being very costly......the chevy cavalier or pontiac sunfire manual 5 speed would work......of cross you will need to do some modification with the pcm but other than that it is a pretty simply procedure for any basic automotive tech.
On the 2.2L engine, in front of the engine attached to the oil cap. On the 2.4L engine, to the rear of the engine, attached to a yellow pull loop.
If it is a manual transmission, it has none. If it is Auto, look around some more and you will find it. Clue, Owner's manual! if you have the 2.4L T engine it does not have a dip stick
I have not ever worked on this model, but here's something to try. Disconnect it at the transmission shift linkage on the transmission and see if it will shift by hand. if it will then you will need to look at the cables, rods or the shifter mechanism.Maybe something is worn, bent or broken.
where is the reverse light switch located on a 2002 jetta with a stick shift
Theres not one
you have to buy a new transmission.
