A proper noun is always capitalized.

A proper noun is the name of a specific person, place, or thing.

for example: Nelson Mandela, Australia, Oreo

The first person, singular, subjective personal pronoun "I" is always capitalized.

All other words are only capitalized when the first word in a sentence.
