this happen to me about 2 months ago and it was the throttle position sensor [tps].2 weeks after that it did it again and the maf [mass air flow]sensor was bad.both are easy fix's.
engine stalls sometimes driving
idle air control valve (iac) could be dirty or clogged.
The light comes on when the car stalls because the engine is not running and the pump therefore is not pumping. The pressure will always be 0 when the engine stalls and the light is directly related to pressure. This is normal, you have no problem, other than the engine stalling.
There are many causes for a service engine light. You need to have it checked for codes. Then you can diagnose from there.
you need a new cam positioning sensor installed
try the converter lock out sensor in the transmission

Stalling while at a light is often a sign that there is a problem getting fuel into the cylinder. The fuel pump could be faulty, however it is advised that you consult a mechanic for a diagnosis immediately.
