it really should close. maybe if you check and see if it is something wrong with it or is it too full? ever car trunk should close or it is broken or jammed.
Get a new car that's actually worth something.
The power trunk lid has to be activated by pushing the trunk release button on the remote twice. to close the trunk,, do like wise.
You probably just need to fix the latch. There are some repair shops and locksmiths that specialize in car trunk locks.
on the trunk latch theirs a little clip, its stuck down and should be up
is it the electric pul down that isn't operating. If it is and you cant get a new one, remove it from the car, remove electric motor( the gear on the trunk hold down tends to break, it is plastic). Disassemble from the top metal plate(2 screws) raise it up and inspect the gear, if missing teeth just hold the gear and rotate the trunk hold down it will lower. Re install in car. You may have to adjust the heigh to get the trunk to shut correctly just raise or lower the hold down(you can do this while it is in the car)
If it's the one where a electric motor closes the trunk for you, you might have to get the new electronic switch by the latch on the car. That's what I had to do.
Locked in the Trunk of a Car was created in 1992.
Yes. Some car amplifiers can be mounted in the trunk.
car wont run its like a carb if the choke is close the car cant breath
is the back of the car dented in? like is the trunk rubbing while trying to close? Second possibility is the latch could have broken, keeping it from attaching and not allowing it to stay shut, possibly a hinge problem towards the back of the trunk door...One of those is most likely the problem...' Good Luck
You get a door jimmy and ope the door for the cabin of the car then you use the tab on the back seat to pull the seat open to get into the trunk compartment....or you could break a window to get in the cabin. you cant call onstar though because they cant open the locks when the battery is dead.
a trunk port is called a trunk because it is part of the back end of a car - ie a trunk.
