well, check all the fuses and check the horn relay if not work. if horn relay sound but horn not working, then you will have to check the clock spring for loose connection or tighting it.you can even look for bad wiring connection to the horn system.
Check the fuse?
I'd like to know that myself. It seems that when I first start the car, I really have to lean on the horn to make it sound-off. After that, it responds easily. I had the horn pad replaced once but it didn't matter. I think it's a design defect.
It could be the relay or the fuse or the horn itself. Or, it could be all three!
You have a loose wire, blown fuse or a faulty horn.
Auto or standard?
horn will not stop honking on my 2004 pontica grand am
bad ground
The awnser is......
YOU HAVE ACTIVATED THE CARS ALARM,PUT YOUR KEY IN THE DRIVERS DOOR LOCK AND TURN IT TWICE TO THE RIGHT.
Replace plastic bushing.
Check obvious fuses, connections. Also the horn is operated by a momentary switch inside the horn button on the wheel, I would check for good clean contact. If it has an airbag, follow proper procedures to remove the cover. If you do remove it, build some jumpers to check continuity from the switch, to the connecter under the hood.
Sounds like the horn has a bad connection. I would replace the horn switch in the steering wheel.
