At 50,000 miles maximum is my recommendation. Your owner's manual may have a different mileage listed.
Drop the tranny pan and change the tranny filter at 50,000 miles.
It's under the transmission fluid pan on the tranny.
you will have to pull the tranny out to change it and then you can pop it out with a screwdriver.
loosen bolts on transmission pan, take front bolts out far enough to let fluid run out of pan. on 3.1 the refill is on top of tranny ,it should ba a red cap,it takes about 7 qts when changing tranny filter and pan gasket!!
Be careful. The reason there is no tranny dip stick is because the tranny is sealed. If you want to change/check the fluid, there is a screw in plug on the side of the transaxle you need to remove to change/add fluid. NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT; don't remove the plug unless the motor is RUNNING. Or else you will have a floor covered with ATF
it should be on front of transmission.
if that car has alot of miles on the tranny dont even bother to change it cuz the ur just gonna mess up the tranny
It's inside the tranny.
it is on passenger side toward tranny
no, it doesen't you have to break the tranny loose from the block if you need tranny fliud... but their should be no reason to be needing it.... i suggest taking it to the dealer if you have issues no, it doesen't you have to break the tranny loose from the block if you need tranny fliud... but their should be no reason to be needing it.... i suggest taking it to the dealer if you have issues no, it doesen't you have to break the tranny loose from the block if you need tranny fliud... but their should be no reason to be needing it.... i suggest taking it to the dealer if you have issues no, it doesen't you have to break the tranny loose from the block if you need tranny fliud... but their should be no reason to be needing it.... i suggest taking it to the dealer if you have issues
try changing filter and tranny fluid!!on 3.1 it takes 7 quarts to fill up after filter change.
The transmission is a 4L60E.
