Chevy Impala 2002 acheater blower motor does not work Could this be the blower motor resistor or the dash control unit Recent water leak on the passenger side near rear fire wall?

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH WATER LEAKING IN ON THE PASSANGER SIDE. THERE IS A RUBBER SEAL TO STOP THE WATER FROM GOING DOWN INTO THE HEATER. IT WAS OFF THE METAL RIM UNDERNEATH THE PLASTIC STRIP/COVER BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD AND THE WIPER. REMOVE THIS COVER AND REPAIR THE RUBBER SEAL FIRST, THEN REMOVE THE FAN/HEATER MOTOR AND TEST TO SEE IF IT IS WORKING , IF IT IS THEN THE RESISTOR IS THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO REPLACE BOTH THE RESISTOR AND THE MOTOR ON MY IMPALA.
