I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH WATER LEAKING IN ON THE PASSANGER SIDE. THERE IS A RUBBER SEAL TO STOP THE WATER FROM GOING DOWN INTO THE HEATER. IT WAS OFF THE METAL RIM UNDERNEATH THE PLASTIC STRIP/COVER BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD AND THE WIPER. REMOVE THIS COVER AND REPAIR THE RUBBER SEAL FIRST, THEN REMOVE THE FAN/HEATER MOTOR AND TEST TO SEE IF IT IS WORKING , IF IT IS THEN THE RESISTOR IS THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO REPLACE BOTH THE RESISTOR AND THE MOTOR ON MY IMPALA.
you need to repleace the blower motor resistor under the das on the passenger side
Perhaps a bad fan resistor
on top of the passenger's feet untder the glove box has 2 5.5 mm bolts and 2 connectors coming out of it.
Blower Resistor is located near the passenger side floor. There is a black cover over the blower housing. Remove the cover and you should see it. You may need to pull the carpet back to get access to the resistor. Also be sure to have a
Check resistor pack on blower motor
If you are referring to the blower motor resistor then it is inside mounted on the evaporator case.
It is either the blower motor control switch or the blower motor resistor pack. More than likely it is the resistor pack. It must be replaced or just live with it until it fails completely.
Recommend you check the blower motor resistor.
It's located under the cowl on the passenger side of the Impala.
YES.....
You could have a bad blower motor or there is a resistor inside the blower motor housing which is located under the glove box on passenger side of car (where your feet would go) That could be your problem.
Under the dash on the passenger's side.
