Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2004 Dash lights flicker and go out when headlights or just the amber lights are turned on Any one know why?
The rheostat in the light stalk is dirty and getting a bad connection causing the dash lights to flicker dim to bright and so on. Try turning the reading and dash lights on and off several times moving the rotary switch from all the way off to all the way on abd back several times. This sometimes will clear the problem for a period. If not, the light stalk will require replacement.
More that likely the headlight switch is bad. Turn your headlights on and when they start to flicker tap on the headlight switch real fast. If they flicker to you tapping on the switch, that's the problem. They had problems with that switch around that year. It's a pretty cheap fix and you can do it your self quickly. Can also be a sign of a failing alternator.
Why do headlights lights flicker and service light come on after driving and when putting car in park?
2007 Acura RL headlights flicker when going over bumps sometimes headlights are strong any bulletins and need fix?
What cause flicker noise in the engine area after replacing spark plugs valve gasket and wires for 99 Chrysler Sebring Convertible?
Assuming that the noise started after the repairs check to be sure the plug wires are connected properly ( pushed on all the way ) and are not touching each other or close to metal. That spark will find ground one way or another, if the plug or distributor connection is bad it will jump across wires or to the engine to reach ground and will make a snap sound, if its not really obvious…
What would cause your headlights to flicker your radio to go off and on and your dash gauges to go crazy?
What would cause your headlights to flicker and voltmeter to drop while driving sometimes but not always?
I have an 2005 and the headlights on it will dim, and then brighten back to normal. I bought it brand new, and it has done it since I bought it. I actually took it back to the dealership, and asked them about it, and they said that Chevy knew that it would do that, but that the car would keep running, and that there was nothing that they could do about it. Hope this…
We might need a little more information. Do the lights flicker every time you switch between low and high? Have you noticed that your turn signal stalk feels gritty or mushy? When you switch to high beams, do they ever flicker later, or just when you switch them? Do they ever go out entirely? I'm thinking that maybe the turn signal switch might be bad, but it's hard to say with no more info. FriPilot
