In 2002, President George Bush signed into law the e Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002. i It is popularly called the No-FEAR Act, and is also known as Public Law 107-174. It is often referred to as the first civil rights law of the 21st century. The law was established to discourage public officials from discriminating in the federal sector.
