How long do ears stay clogged if you have a sinus infection and go on a plane?

The time in which an individual's ears could feel clogged after being on an airplane in conjunction with having a sinus infection can vary depending upon the severity of the sinus infection as well as the altitude and duration of the flight. If the ears do not feel like they have 'popped' with 2-3 days, one should go to see their primary care physician as an antibiotic may be needed to treat the sinus infection to allow drainage.

What can be done about a clogged ear that's been clogged off and on for 2 months since a sinus cold and you still can't hear correctly out of it?

There is not much you can do about it. I recently had a cold that clogged my right ear and still clogged after a week. I went to see an ENT and the only thing he recommend ed me was the use of steroids otherwise it will go away by itself but it can take up to 3 months. the steroids only will clear up the ears in 6 weeks but they have so many side effects that is not worth the risk. **Steroids are for reducing swelling or inflammation of tissue** There is a solution you can try at home with out going to the Dr to reduce swollen sinus tissue deep in the inner ear canal and eustachian tube which causes this problem. The swelling keeps sinus mucus or infection pus clogged in the inner ear and can reduce hearing, cause pain, or just be very annoying. I invented it, and it DOES WORK.

You have been sick for almost a week now and due to that your right ear is clogged for almost a week nowwhat's the cause of it and how to you unclog the ear?

Well the first question I would have for you is what have you been sick with?If you have had a cold, flu or sinus infection, your sinuses are probably congested. You see the sinuses are linked to your ears via the Eustachian tube and when your sinuses become congested they create pressure and can also lead to a clogged ear like-sensation.There are several treatments that you can use to decongest your sinuses; You can order SinusWars7- it is a homeopathic remedy available online. You can use the netipotYou can use a nasal spray (sinus decongestant)There are also traditional over the counter medications, such as sinutab, that you can use but these often have side effects (drowziness)

What helps pressure in ears?

Chewing gum may help pop your ears. Relieving sinus pressure via neti pot, OTC medicines or prescriptions may help as well, as sinus issues may be the cause.

What does it mean when you are pregnant and have fluid in your ears all of a sudden?

Pregnancy and fluid in the ears are unrelated to the best of my knowledge. The fluid is caused by a build up in the sinuses, after a cold or sinus allergy. It can cause dizziness, pain and infection if it does not drain on it's own.
