Could there be a connection to root canal and staph infection in spinal fluid?

No usually as these infections are usually picked up in hospitals unless you have a very sloppy and unclean dentist. Usually the dentist will wear a mask (sometimes goggles) and rubber gloves. You can get an infection, but it would be staph. If you think you have an infection phone your dentist's office and they can prescribe antibiotics. If you are a woman and hate the idea of taking antibiotics because of yeast infections here's a trick: Get cultured yogurt and get a either fresh fruit or tinned peaches or pears and put it on top if you really don't like plain yogurt. The yogurt will settle the tummy (antibiotics can cause nausea) and also balance your PH level so you won't feel so rotten.
