Could you be pregnant if you are 4 days late and have white-clear vaginal discharge?
That is the exact symptoms I was having. I would feel like I started my period and run and check and it was just a clear discharge. I am also 5 days late on my period. I finally got the nerve to take the test and it was positive.
Here is more information from Wiki s contributors:
- Take a test and find out. Being late is a sign of pregnancy, but I'm not sure about white discharge. Take a home test or go see a doctor. More discharge or if you don't normally have this discharge is due to extra discharge building up inside because of your body plugging up the cervix. It is called the mucus plug.
- Definitely take a test. I don't think discharge changes when you are pregnant only that you are supposed to experience more, but if you are usually on time and now you are late, test immediately.
- I had that when I was newly pregnant and it persists until later. Go tot the doctor and have a blood test though because I tested neg on my hpt butI knew something was different. Good luck!

No it's normal for women to have vaginal discharge, it's the vagina's way of cleaning itself and keeping foreign invaders that could cause infection out. If the discharge is thick and smells bad it could be a yeast infection, which is easy to treat with over-the-counter medication available at any pharmacy
No it doesn't. During pregnancy a woman has a increase in vaginal discharge, not a absence in it. ++++ Well, yes, it could be. After my period, around my ovulation time, I had very little discharge (if anything). I believe it was because the egg took and became fertilized. I am now 1 week pregnant, and still have very little discharge. Everyone is different.
If you had unprotected sex recently, and did not perform Kiegels to discharge the semen, it could be the leftover semen. If you have missed your period, or have had an unusually short or light period, get a pregnancy test. If neither of these is the case, you could have a yeast infection or another issue. Consult your physician.
Yes, an increase in vaginal discharge in early pregnancy it attributed to the formation of the mucus plug. Increased vaginal discharge could also mean a yeast infection too - don't be alarmed, just visit your doctor. I'm 18 and recently have had excessive discharge, but it was only a bacterial infection!
Normal vaginal discharge in pregnancy is called leukorrhea, it is odor-less, or sometimes a mild-smelling milky discharge. You may have noticed this even before you were pregnant, you're noticing more due to increased levels of estrogen production as well as increased blood flow to your vaginal area. Thick white discharge during pregnancy is completely normal. It is because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area. This discharge is made up of secretions from the cervix and vagina, old cells from the walls of the vagina, and normal bacterial flora from the vagina. This could quite possibly mean that you are pregnant as clear discharge is a sign of the mucus plus forming therefor when you get pregnant sometimes you get the discharge of the excess. I would say try taking a pregnancy test to make sure and if that is not it then you should see the doctor to find out what the discharge could be.
