Could you be pregnant if you forgot some of your pills last month and your period was only a brownish discharge?

Yes! You need to take a home test or go see a doctor. Missing pills or being late taking them is a very big cause for pills not work and then women to become pregnant. And a brownish period instead of a regular period is a sign of pregnancy.

Brownish discharge may be a sign of pregnancy for some women but for many women, a brownish discharge is the actual period. Periods are lighter while on the pill and many times brownish in color, in my opinion it is not a definite sign of pregnancy.

A brownish pinkish discharge is not a normal indication of pregnancy.

Yes. Brownish discharge two days before one's period does not definitively confirm pregnancy.

User Avatar

Light pink discharge is common if you are pregnant.

User Avatar

It is probably your period, not discharge.

You may be pregnant. Many women experience a brownish discharge early in pregnancy. It is also possible that you are not and that the discharge is a prelude to your period. I would consult a doctor. It may be too early for the test. Wait and try again. If no period and still neg HPT, see your dr.

if you are pregnant you miss your period

Yes, I had brownish/oragne/pink discharge around 4 days before my period was due..but period never came and found out that I was pregnant.

It's highly unlikely.Brownish-red discharge always is old blood. If the sex was close to the end of your period, then the discharge is the last of period blood. If you aren't close to your period, is it possible you were injured?

User Avatar

Hi A brownish discharge is old blood. A short period and brownish discharge may be pregnancy related and implantation bleeding. If it is implantation bleeding it is too early to do a pregnancy test. You will need to see your doctor for a blood test. It may also be caused by a hormonal imbalance or pre-menopausal.

User Avatar

No, when you are pregnant you tend to get more discharge then normally. And at the end of your pregnancy you get alot of discharge.

User Avatar

Brown discharge is spotting, remaining blood from your period leaving the body and mixing with discharge. This is normal, you can use menstrual cups or pads to deal with it until it comes to an end.

User Avatar

This is a very difficult question because brownish discharge is associated with both pregnancy and normal periods. If a full menstrual flow has not followed the discharge, you should do a pregnancy test immediately. It will be nearly 100% accurate once you have past the date you expected your period.

User Avatar

No, I expect it's probably because you're pregnant. It is called implantation bleeding. Take a pregnancy test to be sure

User Avatar

Not at all. Bleeding red and or brownish black while on your period is perfectly normal because when its red its just blood obviously but if its brownish black its just discharge usually occurs near the end of your period but it happens in between that's nothing to worry about :)

User Avatar

Yes, it is just the blood getting mixed with your period blood

User Avatar

This probably is just a slightly irregular period, no cause for cocern- it is very normal to have your period to start and stop occasionly or have it be brown. If you are having your period, you are not pregnant.

17 days late for this month's period, light burning and pressure in the lower abdomin, with stickey brownish vaginal discharge. plese help!

User Avatar

Yes you are pregnant. The bleeding that you experienced was probably 'implantation bleeding' which is when the embro implants into the uterus.

User Avatar

That probably IS your period, the blood isn't usually red... It often comes out in the form of a brownish discharge, especially if you're young or on birth control.

User Avatar

No. Getting your period means you are not pregnant.

User Avatar

The old blood you are seeing is old Blood that was left from your period and It is not uncommon to experience this even before your period as well
