Daily life as a Jehovah's Witnesses is not much different from the daily life of most people of the community in which they live. They work, shop, go to school, pay their bills... they relax, socialize with friends and family and engage in other everyday activities of life.

What would be somewhat exceptional is they also make time for spiritual activities such as reading their bibles daily, prayer and meditation as well as participating in their ministry of spreading the gospel.

They also have 2 weekly bible study services (meetings).

Being one of Jehovah's Witnesses is a deeply satisfying yet challenging experience. In many ways Jehovah's Witnesses are no different from most people, they live in the community, work, send their children to the same schools and have the same concerns as others of making a living, protecting their health and caring for their families. However, for Jehovah's Witnesses their worship of their God is central to their lives and this involves a gospel outreach work that is unpopular with some. They know they will meet opposition and even persecution because of this.

Jehovah's Witnesses also have a high moral code which is unusual in today's world and on a daily basis face pressures to compromise their Christian stand, so being one of Jehovah's Witnesses means being ready to be "different" in a religious sense. Most Jehovah's Witnesses meet this challenge with a positive attitude and enjoy their lives, their international brotherhood and the prospect of eternal life on a paradise earth.

Very happy, very stressful, much sacrifice, much worry failure to do the right thing, but overall, the best way of life.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a cheerful bunch, and they can see a bright future ahead, if only they can keep enduring and marching forward.

They are protected from many ugly problems - their marriages and family bonds have much better survival rates, because they put great stock in keeping together. This comes from the husband getting much training and guidance on how to really take hold of his responsibility and lead his family, the wife learning to support him, and children learning to be obedient.

Young Witnesses can sometimes have a very hard time, especially at school. They might feel they are losing out on the things their school-friends are enjoying that they can't do. They might feel they stick out too much. This is normal - everybody wants to be accepted by those around. The problem is that spending too much time worrying about it and remembering what one doesn't have, instead of remembering what one does have, can bring great unhappiness. Dwelling too much on it causes some to decide they don't want to be a Jehovah's Witness anymore. It's not common, but it does happen. Trusting that school is just a phase in life that passes, and that there are still many more things to be done and enjoyed in can help. And regardless of what time in life, trusting that Jehovah will keep a person going through the hard times can equip unbelievable power to endure.
