Doubtful Diana was Prince Charles" first wife. She died in auto accident in l997. Camilla is the current , though they don"t call her this, Crown Princess. When Elizabeth II dies, Camilla will be Queen Consort ( Spouse, wife) this is not the same as a regnant queen. ( reigining, in power). Queen Mary of Ocean liner fame was a Queen Consort, as was Alexandra.

Camilla was forced to take second place to Lady Diana, why would she want to help Diana with a wedding dress? Once Prince Charles & Lady Diana got married, Camilla felt like it was a kick in the teeth. For years Camilla wanted to be the one marrying Prince Charles, so she decided to take a backseat and be Prince Charles mistress, until Prince Charles and Princess Diana were divorced and Diana passed away in that horrible car accident. I remember watching Lady Diana's wedding to Prince Charles, then their divorce and hearing about her death in that tunnel in France.
