They were married August 23, 1962 at the same registry office where Lennon's parents were married in 1939. Brian Epstein served as best man, and his gift to the couple was the lease on a flat, so they could have a private home. (This was not to last, as the Beatles' fame grew.) Most of the ceremony was drowned out by a jackhammer outside, and the wedding party went across the road to Reece's, for a chicken dinner. They toasted with water, since Reece's had no alcohol license.

∙ 11y agoHe didn't. She divorced him on grounds of adultery. He denied it, but Yoko was admitted to a maternity hospital before the case went to court. (She later miscarried the baby.) Their divorce was final on November 8, 1968.
Lennon wrote later that his relationship with Ono was "worth breaking up a happily married state of boredom for", and said in an interview that he and Cynthia "never had much to say to each other".
Cynthia was a nice women and John Lennon loved her so he married her but Cynthia found out John was cheating on her.

∙ 14y agoHe drifted away from her over time. They met in college, and got married when she got pregnant, just a few months before The Beatles became famous. She tried not to change too much, so he'd always have the same wife and home to come back to; meanwhile he traveled the world, and had much of it as his feet. (She realized later she should have pursued her own interests.) Cynthia blamed drugs for ruining their relationship; Lennon maintained that "we never had much to say to each other". Lennon found in Yoko Ono "someone I could be myself with".

After that he asked her If she wants to make a pair with him.. She said no, because she had fiance but after that she met him in some pub and after that they making love for hour.. :D :)
