This is false. Selena WAS given a blood transfusion at the hospital, but she had bled out well before she'd reached there. They performed surgery on her, she just didn't make it.

Ok whoever said there was no religion that prohibits blood transfusions needs to become familiar with the Jehovas Witnesses. They do block blood transfusions though I am unsure if Selena received the operation.
